County:

Description:

Centers situate learning in small groups with hands-on materials where children can problem solve, reason, and communicate with peers. The teacher can be a center, too! Join us to try out over 20 centers you can use right away. We’ll make triangles with straws, sort cereal according to shapes, and measure our show and tell, all while building important foundational concepts in number, geometry, and measurement. Find out how to make math twice as effective with half the work.

Participants should arrive 5-10 minutes before class. No children allowed.

Collaborative for Children is committed to accommodating the needs of all individuals who attend our trainings. If you require any special accommodations, please contact Rubi Rojo at 713-600-1173.

Training available only to those employed in the following Texas counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Walker, Waller and Wharton. Professional development opportunity made possible by Workforce Solutions.
