Early childhood teachers are invited to consider how they view their responsibility as the facilitator of the early childhood experience. This training will encourage teachers to explore their roles of caregiver, teacher, and educator: and how these roles are similar and different. We will emphasize the importance of self-care and highlight the value of the very important work of impacting the lives of young children. Teachers will examine the authenticity of Reflective Practice and Self-awareness as the guide to how we do our work each day, reflect on ways to partner with parents by seeing parents as protagonists, explore strategies of team-building, such as being the professional you want to see in others and view Professional Development as a valuable tool toward success.

Participants should arrive 5-10 minutes before class. No children allowed.

Collaborative for Children is committed to accommodating the needs of all individuals who attend our trainings. If you require any special accommodations, please contact Rubi Rojo at 713-600-1173.
