Description:

Join us as we explore scientifically-proven teaching strategies for how teachers can rapidly advance the oral and reading development of English Language Learners (ELLs). This session will focus on both the science of what makes Ells unique and strategies for how to address their unique learning needs. Preschool teachers will learn how to provide explicit, systematic instruction in vocabulary to Ell students, provide a physical classroom space and routines to provide scaffolding for ELLs' language learning, and much more!
