From Bay Area Blvd, you will turn right onto University Drive, take first street to your right then make an immediate left into parking lot G. Drive to the far-right hand corner of the parking lot, there you will find visitor parking places. Once parked, take the sidewalk between Arbor Central and Arbor South. Join us as we explore scientifically-proven teaching strategies for how teachers can rapidly advance the oral and reading development of English Language Learners (ELLs). This session will focus on both the science of what makes Ells unique and strategies for how to address their unique learning needs. Preschool teachers will learn how to provide explicit, systematic instruction in vocabulary to Ell students, provide a physical classroom space and routines to provide scaffolding for ELLs' language learning, and much more!
