This training will focus on how to physically arrange your classroom environment for optimizing learning, promoting child choice and independence and ensuring physical and emotional safety. Participants will engage in activities to learn about setting up a classroom that promotes maximizing children’s time on task and a variety of developmentally appropriate strategies for promoting independent learners. Participants will discuss how and why classroom set up can address a variety of common early childhood challenges through the use of practical classroom management tips and tools.

Participants should arrive 5-10 minutes before class. No children allowed.
