This workshop will help participants learn how to introduce sensory input as a technique to help counter challenging behaviors and sensory concerns in children within various environments. These behavioral tips and sensory strategies can help improve children’s attention to tasks and self-regulation skills for improved performance in daily activities. Participants will leave the session with a general understanding of the sensory system and the mind/body, and how to apply it in different situations to facilitate the desired behavior with the children served.
