This session will invite educators to closely reflect on the teaching and learning process combined with meaningful caregiving of infants and toddlers. We will discuss ways to look at the development of infants and toddlers in all learning domains, as well as the possibilities of making the teaching-learning process visible.
Teachers will examine the authenticity of teacher-child interactions as a way to look at the development of children in connection to all learning domains, reflect on ways to partner with parents as an opportunity to enhance learning and development of infants and toddlers, and explore documentation and observation by definition and the importance, value, and benefits these processes offer.
Participants should arrive 5-10 minutes before class. No children allowed.
