What is Texas Rising Star? | Collaborative For Children

What is Texas Rising Star?

Texas Rising Star is a voluntary, quality-based child care rating system of child care providers participating in the Texas Workforce Commission’s subsidized child care program. Texas Rising Star Certified Providers exceed the state’s minimum child care licensing standards and, in return, receive valuable benefits. Certification is awarded by “star levels” ranging from Two Star to Four Star.
