Are you nervous about teaching math? Do you wonder what you’re supposed to be teaching? Have you avoided teaching math because you’re unsure how to go about it? Then this is the workshop for you! You’re not alone in your confusion about teaching math in preschool. Many early childhood professionals do not fully understand their important role in laying foundations for later math learning. During this workshop, we’ll get hands-on with tasks for counting, measurement, sorting, geometry, and graphing. Join us to experience the joy of building math understanding with activities like snowball hunts, disappearing trains, and post-it note quilts.
