• WHAT DO WE DO?
We work with parents, educators, and local leaders to make sure our region’s children have the learning opportunities they need to succeed.
  • WE DO IT FOR HOUSTON
Together, we are investing in our area’s future, accomplishing more than we ever thought we could alone.
  • We believe that all our children should have access to the same opportunities, no matter their background, and our work remains unfinished until we get there.
Our Mission

Early learning. Long term success.

Our desire is to improve the quality of early education in Greater Houston. We work with parents, educators, and local leaders to make sure our region’s children have the learning opportunities they need to succeed – in school and throughout their lives.

The Problem

We need to invest in our region’s future.

A strong future for Greater Houston depends on a highly competitive local workforce to support our region’s economy. If we’re going to tackle the issue in the long term, we need to invest in our region’s children, who will become the next generation of qualified employees.

Our Role

Making quality early education a reality.

Collaborative for Children increases the quality of early education in Greater Houston, using research-based strategies and partnerships to really make a difference. We support educators, advocate for important policies, and connect parents to resources and programs.

The Solution

Quality early education.

Making high-quality early education a reality for every child is the best way to invest in our region’s future. The children who live here today are the ones who will support our region’s economy in the years to come – and when they have access to vital learning opportunities, we all go far.
