Professional Training

Collaborative for Children offers face-to-face early childhood training sessions to teaching staff, caregivers, directors, assistant directors and owners working in Licensed Child Care Centers or in Registered/Licensed Family Child Care Homes in the following counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Walker, Waller and Wharton. Online training is open to all child care professionals.

    College Scholarships Not Available for Fall Semester

    We are NOT able to offer college tuition scholarships for the Fall semester. However, local colleges have provided financial aid resources for students seeking college tuitions. For more information, please click on the links below:

    Online Training

    Collaborative for Children, in partnership with the Texas Agrilife Extension Service, an educational agency of the Texas A&M System, is offering quality online trainings for child care professionals.

    These online courses are self-paced early childhood courses that can help directors and their staff meet state training requirements. Our courses are convenient to access and provide students the flexibility of choosing their own training hours.

    Training courses are based on the latest research and best practices in early childhood.
