Here are a few stories we’ve heard:

Story from a Mother of Three Children:
The mom stated, “I found myself frustrated with my three little ones, and called the Early Connections InfoLine with questions. I found myself raising my hand to my children and then stopping and thinking that there must be a better way.  I really want what’s best for my children and want to learn about other ways to parent.  I didn’t know where to go and didn’t have a support system.  I was grateful that I had seen the Early Connections TV ad, and happy to be able to talk about things with your parent educator.”

Story from a single Dad:
He stated, “I called to get information about being a good father.  I had faced many challenges and wanted to provide the best for my  daughter.  I have cared for my daughter alone since her mother left when she was 2 weeks old, and was seeking any help Collaborative for Children could provide.  I received a variety of materials and resources to help learn about my daughter’s developmental stages.  I want to be the best Dad I can be for my little girl.”

Story from a new Mother:
A mother and registered home provider stated, “My first experience with Collaborative for Children was when I called the Resource & Referral Line looking for care for my baby; the service was very helpful! Since I became a child care provider I have received a wealth of knowledge through your resources and trainings, as well as parent referrals to my home!”
