Become a Corporate Sponsor

To be productive members of the workforce of today, parents need to know that their
children are well cared for:

  • Twenty-five percent of employees with children under the age of 12 have problems with child care availability three to five times in a three-month period
  • Employers pay $3 billion a year due to absenteeism directly related to child care
  • Employees with work-family conflicts are three times as likely to consider quitting

Children hold the key to the future, but to become the leaders of tomorrow, children need quality early care and education today. For businesses, an investment in early education can have a significant impact on your current, and future workforce.

2006 Collaborative for Children Corporate Campaign

“Building Commitment for the Workforce of Tomorrow”

In order to build a strong base of support for our newly merged organization, we have developed a Corporate Campaign and a range of sponsorship opportunities for area corporations and businesses.

Early childhood education is one of the best investments we can make to ensure a well-educated and well-trained workforce.

Various ways corporations can be involved with the Collaborative for Children (CC):

Corporate Leaders– General support of CC’s operations and programs that increase public awareness and community education; provide parents with educational materials and resources; develop and support professionals in improving the quality of infant, toddler, and preschool programs; and strengthen the overall system through policy development and systems change.

Corporate HANDS – www.corporatehandshouston.org

Corporate HANDS is a collaborative effort, combining the time and funds of leading Houston-are companies. Its purpose is to continually improve the quality and accessibility of dependent care programs. All funding remains in the Greater Houston Area.

Corporate HANDS is one of the strongest local business collaborations in the United States, with over a decade of experience in connecting corporate resources and positive community outcomes.

Corporate Sponsors – Options for raising corporate visibility through CC’s programs include: 2006 Annual Luncheon, new website, and educational television ads.
