Quality Child Care is Serious Business

Employees with young children are more productive at work and have greater peace of mind when they know their children are in safe, capable hands. Corporate studies show that improving the quality of child care reduces stress for employees, improves productivity rates for employers, and raises the standards of care in the community.

Consider the facts:
  • 65% of working mothers have children under age six.
  • 85% of employers say that providing child care services improved employee recruitment.
  • 24% of companies say productivity is lost while replacing employees who quit due to caregiver duties.
  • Child care breakdowns leading to employee absences cost businesses $3 billion per year.
