Carol S. Shattuck President and CEO
Ms. Shattuck serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Collaborative for Children. Prior to her association with Collaborative for Children, Ms. Shattuck directed a collaboration in the field of women's health care. She worked with a number of health care providers to design a full continuum of care in the area of breast health care for low-income women.
In her professional career, Ms. Shattuck has held positions in strategic and financial planning, program development and management in both the public and nonprofit sector. She has operated a consulting practice, which specialized in strategic planning, board of directors' development, program evaluation, meeting facilitation and collaboration development.
Ms. Shattuck has a Masters degree from Rice University's Jones School of Administration and a Bachelors degree in Public Policy from Duke University. Previously Ms. Shattuck has served on the boards of Volunteer Houston and Leadership Houston. Ms. Shattuck was selected as a member of the 2005-2006 class of the American Leadership Forum, Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter.
