Thank you to those of you who joined us at our 25th Anniversary Celebration last Thursday evening, the most successful fundraiser in our 25-year history! Nearly 500 of Houston's business, education, and civic leaders were in attendance, helping us raise more than $400,000 to further our work with young children, families and early childhood educators throughout the Greater Houston region. We are happy to share that $37,150 was raised through our Paddles Up for Quality Early Childhood Education portion of the evening alone. Money raised through Paddles Up will support three specific projects over the coming year:

1. teacher scholarships;
2. classroom resources and materials; and
3. nature-based playgrounds for child care programs in need.
